Established in 2024, The Ulu Initiative is a 501(c)3 in the state of Washington.

our mission:
The Ulu Initiative exists to perpetuate Indigenous cultures through education, hands-on experiences, and community events, while fostering wellness, mentorship, and meaningful connection for children, families, and the broader community.
VISION STATEMENT:
We envision a thriving cultural center in Southwest Washington where Indigenous cultures are celebrated, practiced, and preserved. A place where youth see themselves reflected, families find connection, and the broader community develops a deep appreciation for cultural diversity.

The Ulu Cultural Center is the hub for The Ulu Initiative. It is a FREE Cultural Center that provides educational opportunities, cultural activities, community resources, and programs for our youth, job training, physical & mental health, and the overall wellness of our community.
